Does your idea of a fun and memorable vacation consist of racing around the tarmac in a professional race car, observing the wild in captivity and maybe visiting a winery or two? If so, you should think about planning a family vacation to Indianapolis, Indiana.
Indianapolis, Indiana is a great place for a family vacation because it has so much to offer in the way of attractions and activities but at the same time, offers a very laid back personality and atmosphere that make people feel quite at home. And it doesn't hurt that they have their very own racing school and race track.
The Track Attack racing school has been rated as one of the top things to do and see in Indianapolis. A premier racing school, Track Attack gives novices the chance to satisfy their appetite for speed and excitement. After choosing their car, which has easy to learn features, visitors to this unique attraction take a short training course before they get behind the wheel of their chosen racer. Visitors can then choose to go a few laps on their own or compete in a race complete with champagne and trophies for the winner.
The Indianapolis Zoo is also a must see for any family vacation. Located in White River State Park, the Indianapolis Zoo receives approximately 1 million visitors each year and has received some very prestigious awards for their dedication, care and preservation of the species to be found at the zoo.
